Ramsey Farmers Market

Often considered one of the premier farmers markets in Northern New Jersey, Ramsey has become a true weekend tradition for Bergen County residents. Open year-round, the market features an impressive selection of local farms, organic produce, artisan breads, fresh mozzarella, baked goods, flowers, coffee, prepared foods, and specialty vendors. Many locals consider it the best market in Bergen County thanks to its size, variety, and vibrant atmosphere.

When: Sundays, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Location: Erie Plaza at the Ramsey Train Station

Season: Year-round (winter location and hours vary)

Ridgewood Farmers Market

Set in one of Bergen County’s most beloved downtowns, the Ridgewood Farmers Market offers the perfect blend of small-town charm and upscale local shopping. Visitors can browse seasonal produce, fresh breads and pastries, specialty foods, pickles, jams, and locally made products before heading into downtown Ridgewood for brunch or coffee.


When: Sundays, 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM

Location: Garber Square at the Ridgewood Train Station

Season: Summer through fall

Abma's Farm Market, Greenhouse, and Barnyard Petting Zoo: Wyckoff, NJ


For those looking for more than a traditional market experience, Abma’s Farm in Wyckoff is a Bergen County staple. Part farmers market, part family destination, Abma’s offers fresh produce, baked goods, garden plants, farm-raised meats, eggs, honey, and seasonal specialties alongside a charming farm setting complete with animals and family activities.


When: Monday–Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Location: 700 Lawlins Road

Season: Year-round (limited hours during the winter)

Franklin Lakes Farmers & Artisan Market


Nestled in the heart of Franklin Lakes, the Franklin Lakes Farmers Market is a favorite local stop for fresh finds

and community charm. Shoppers can explore farm-fresh produce, artisanal breads, homemade baked goods, prepared foods, flowers, and specialty products from local vendors, all while enjoying the town’s peaceful suburban setting and welcoming atmosphere.


When: Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Location: 1 Vichiconti Way

Season: Summer through Fall

Demarest Farms Market: Hillsdale, NJ

One of the most iconic farm destinations in Bergen County, Demarest Farms combines a year-round farm market with seasonal orchard experiences, making it a go-to stop for fresh produce, baked goods, and family-friendly activities throughout the year.


When: Daily 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Location: 244 Wierimus Road

Season: Spring, Summer, Fall - closed Jan-early Apr

When: Thursdays, 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Location: River Vale Town Hall
